What is Profile Building all about?
Top-tier colleges, particularly in the US, seek applicants who stand out with a unique "spike" or distinctive talent. Rather than admitting a class of well-rounded generalists, they aim to curate a diverse group with a wide range of strengths and interests. Epiphy Academy’s multi-year Profile Building Program helps you develop that unique footprint, setting you apart in a highly competitive foreign admissions landscape.

At Epiphy Academy, we empower students to create innovative startups, impactful projects, and compelling portfolios that set them apart in college applications. Here’s a glimpse of some exceptional work from our students.

Capstone Research: Making Bioplastic Using PHA & Byproducts of Jatropha Biofuel
A capstone research project on bioplastics using PHA and Jatropha biofuel byproducts was transformed into a viable business proposal, securing a Top 10 position in the Young Innovators Hunt—the highest award at the MNIT Incubation & Innovation Centre (MIIC). The project later gained mentorship from an entrepreneur at MIIC to explore real-world implementation.
TechSoCh: Empowering Communities Through Technology & Education
Founded to address poverty and illiteracy, TechSoCh brought together student volunteers from developing countries to create meaningful change. The initiative engaged children in skill development programs, basic education, and computer literacy, while also distributing food in underprivileged areas. Beyond education, efforts extended to raising awareness among women and families about government welfare programs and their rights.
GoEco Naturals: Sustainable Dairy & Farmer Empowerment
Co-founded to promote sustainable dairy practices, GoEco Naturals generated employment for low-income farmers while raising awareness about the benefits of A2 milk and its products. The initiative was FSSAI-approved and built a customer base of 500+ active consumers, bridging the gap between ethical farming and healthier nutrition choices.
Raddi Dictators: Turning Waste into Opportunity
Raddi Dictators aimed to bridge waste generators, raddiwalas (scrap collectors), and brands, creating a sustainable waste management ecosystem. It empowered waste pickers by connecting them with recyclers and training them. With India generating 26,000 tonnes of packaging waste daily, the initiative provided a scalable recycling solution, later pitched to UNESCO representatives.
Forgo Plastic: A Community-Led Movement Against Plastic Pollution
Forgo Plastic was founded to combat plastic pollution by distributing free paper bags and promoting sustainable alternatives like jute and fabric bags. Inspired by Ripu Daman Bevli, the Plogman of India, the initiative aimed to scale up through plastic upcycling research, with support from the New York Academy of Sciences.
The Sensible Voice: Cultivating Compassion & Emotional Well-Being
The Sensible Voice (TSV) was founded to steer youth away from aggression, hatred, and violence—toward equanimity and compassion. The initiative worked with school students, orphans, teenagers, and vulnerable groups, addressing psychosomatic issues, criminal tendencies, and emotional well-being. With 6000+ youth impacted across 5+ countries, TSV explored collaborations with major organizations like Breakthrough to expand its reach.
Bi-Directional Infinity Box: Structuring Infinite Series
This independent research introduced the Bi-Directional Infinity Box, a method for organizing and analyzing infinite series by calculating the sum of all natural multiples of each number up to infinity. It can be rearranged into a triangle, like Pascal’s Triangle, revealing hidden patterns and properties across multiple infinite sequences.
Infinith: Democratizing Research & Opportunity
Infinith launched hands-on research initiatives to empower socially disadvantaged communities, making research accessible beyond privileged institutions. With 30+ members and 1,000+ children impacted, the initiative earned global recognition, including the Top 40 United Nations V Award (UNDP) and the Indian Achiever’s Award. It was also sponsored by Hungarian mathematician Dr. Gábor Domokos and Gömböc
Energy from Waste: Research on Plastic-to-Power Conversion
This research project, conducted at the Nanofluidics Lab, IIT Guwahati, explored electricity generation from plastic waste using B/N doped graphene. It successfully generated 120mV from just 6g of waste and was later acquired by the lab for PhD-level continuation under the title: ‘Electrical Energy Generation from Plastic Waste Harnessing Contrasting Interfacial Activity of B/N Doped Graphene’.
GirlUp & Pack of Confidence: Empowering Women’s Health
This initiative raised $3,000 through crowdfunding and donations, providing 2,500+ women with reusable, affordable sanitary pads. By promoting menstrual health awareness and accessibility, the project championed sustainable hygiene solutions and women’s empowerment.
